Obituary for Pedro James Vaca Jr.

It is with heavy heart that we announce the demise of Mr. Pedro Vaca, who peacefully passed away September 13, 2023. Pete Vaca served in the U.S. Air Force as a drill instructor at Lackland S.A TX worked in the Texas Workforce Commission, Adult Probation Officer, Urban League, United States Justice Department.

In 1984 Pete and Yoli owned and operated La Botica Cafe home of the Tijuana limo party bus in Dallas, TX. They received several accolades by D Magazine write up on La Botica Cafe as Ivory Power for live entertainment and voted Best Margarita by the Dallas Margarita Society. Providing drinks and Mariachi music along the ride to La Botica for Pete and Yoli's good food and a fun Fiesta time! Together they both loved cooking, catering, and hosting all who came to experience La Botica. A Fiesta that lives on forever with great memories. In the spirit and words of Pete Vaca, QUE VIVA LA RAZA.

Two loving people Pete and Yoli will be missed dearly by all who knew them. May God rest their souls in peace forever and ever amen. Along with our dad, our beautiful most loving mother, Yolanda Vaca who passed away on July 20, 2022, will be placed beside him to be together forever in God's loving arms. Both are survived by Larry Garcia, Vivian Vaca Ramirez, Cheryl Gomez, Charles Vaca, Mark Vaca.

A celebration of life will be held on October 16. 2023 at 12:30 pm Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
